SHERPAS

While trecking in the Annapurna's in the mountains of Nepal, my Sherpa took me in to a remote village where we would stay for the night and meet the tribes. They welcomed us we got the chance to sleep in the cattle barn. If I could choose today between a 5-star hotel, I would prefer to go back in to this barn. We were invited in almost every house in this village and so we showed respect and did our duty. While the family we stayd cooked for us, I had good fun with them and they allowed me to take photos in their huts where they sleep and have a fire place inside the hut. It was very cozy and dark, just like what I would imagine when someone would tell me. This lady was the elder matriarch in the family.
